North Shore Wave Shuttle is now operating!

Our FREE shuttle service connects commuters and residents from the Beverly Depot train to: 100 & 500 Cummings Center, 108 Cherry Hill (Axcelis), and 1 Trask Lane (CST) during the peak am and pm commute times. Made possible by our partners: American Renal Associates, Axcelis, City of Beverly, Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Executive Office for Administration & Finance), CST, Cummings Center, and the Town of Danvers. The shuttle features: free wi-fi, air conditioning, and capacity for 30 passengers.

Announcing our new Ride-sharing Platform!
Salem Ferry-a great way to commute!
Now that summer is in full-swing, what better way to commute than by boat? The Salem ferry operates from now until October 31st. Pick up the Ferry on the Salem Wharf at Blarney Street and in Boston at Long Wharf. Salem and North Shore residents receive a special discount with proof of residency and commuters with a zone 3 or higher commuter rail pass can board the 7:00am from Salem or the 5:30pm from Boston ferry for free with their pass. Zagster reaches 15,000 trips in Salem!
The North Shore TMA is happy to announce Salem's bike sharing program-Zagster, has reached a new milestone-nearly 15,000 trips! We proudly support Zagster and recently completed a promotion offering City of Salem employees a FREE annual membership. We had 18 people sign up to take advantage of this limited time offer. We'll be announcing a new wellness challenge to further promote active commuting during the summer months. Stay tuned!
Eastern Bank begins walking tours of Historic Lynn
Partnering with the North Shore TMA and the Lynn Walking Shoe Tours, Eastern Bank was treated to a special after work walking tour exploring the rich history, architecture, famous figures, and murals that make up the fascinating fabric of Lynn.

This is part of the North Shore TMA"s wellness initiative. We hope to create more partnerships for walking tours in Salem and Beverly, stay tuned for those.

Our next tour in Lynn will be on bike in late/July-August. Contact us if you'd like to know when the date is announced.
Tobin Bridge/Chelsea Curves Project Updates
  • Route 1 Northbound: Approaching the Tobin Bridge from Boston, the work zone begins in the right-hand lane. 2 of 3 travel lanes will be open during daytime hours (5 a.m. –10 p.m.) and at least 1 travel lane will be open during overnight hours (10 p.m.–5 a.m.).
  • Route 1 Southbound: Approaching the Chelsea Curves from the North Shore, the workzone begins in the right-hand lane at the Carter Street off-ramp. Just beyond the Carter Street on-ramp, the travel lanes shift to the right. 2 of 3 travel lanes will be open during daytime hours (5 a.m. –10 p.m.) and at least 1 travel lane will be open during overnight hours (10 p.m.–5 a.m.).
  • Ramps: All on- and off-ramps will remain open at this time.
  • Local Streets: The Spruce Street temporary reconfiguration will remain in place for approximately 2-3 months.
