Education Alumna Named Dean at Florida Southwestern State College

April L. Fleming, Ed.D., has been named Dean of the School of Education at Florida Southwestern State College. She holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education and Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice.

NSU KPCOM Alumnus Selected To Serve on the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) Resident Council

Ian D. Singer, D.O., J.D. (’19), a family medicine resident at Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was selected as one of 12 residents nationwide to serve on the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) Resident Council.

NSU Clinic Offering Online COVID-19 Support Groups

If you are feeling stressed out by COVID-19, free online support groups are available from one of the clinics at the College of Psychology’s Psychology Services Center. The support groups, which meet on Zoom, are offered by the Healthy Lifestyles Guided Self-Change Clinic (GSC).
