A Message from the President
The COVID-19 pandemic created unprecedented challenges for the entire world in 2020, and many challenges remain in 2021. Nova Southeastern University adapted to the learning and health challenges posed by the pandemic thanks to the dedication of our faculty and staff members, and, of course, our students.
Timely Topics Anchor Lecture Series
As a double alumnus, member of the NSU Shepard Broad College of Law (NSU Law) Board of Governors, and NSU Fellows Society member, Jay A. Ziskind, J.D., D.P.A., has a rich history with NSU. Ziskind has established a health law lecture series at the university. The upcoming panel discussion "Mapping the Future of Health Care Post COVID-19" takes place on Thursday, October 21.
If You Build It With Excellence,
They Will Come
There are passionate educators and engaged department chairs—and then there is NSU Fellows Society Member Robert Wagner, D.H.Sc., M.M.Sc., RRT, CAA, associate dean and chair of anesthesia at NSU's Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences. They haven’t yet come up with the adequate attribute to fully capture his commitment to NSU or the ripple effect he has had on the field of anesthesiology.
Heartfelt Thank You
The Mary Jane Harlow Scholarship Fund was established to provide partial tuition for students in the charter class of the NSU Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine (NSU MD). Nuverah Mohsin, a fourth-year medical student, is one of the recipients of the scholarship.
Terry Mularkey's
