About the Artist
The masthead for this month's issue was created by Savannah, GA native Raul Perez. Perez hopes to become a concept artist and design characters for the video game industry. When illustrating, Perez draws inspiration from artist Kazuma Kaneko to create semi-realistic characters with a moody, melancholy, or pensative tone. He typically uses neutral colors with small splashes of vibrant color to enhance the details.
