Drew Boe is our featured employee this month. Drew has been with NTM since 2018. With his dedication to continuous improvement, Drew has made significant contributions, enhancing processes and improving efficiency.

Name: Drew Boe
How long have you been at NTM? 6 ½ years
What was your first week like? Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, wanting to get to know me and of course asking if I was a "Car Guy"
Any notable memories over time? What has changed? I started in the STUBBY department and have moved up to setting up and running boring bars and heads on the HAAS mill in NC. We have had some people retire and some great new people join the NTM Team. I've enjoyed getting some new machines and contributing to process and efficiency improvements. In 2022 while working full-time, I attained a 16-credit course certification in Machine Trades-Machine Technology Certificate 1 at Anoka Technical College, thanks to the State of Minnesota Dual Pipeline training program.
What are you doing now (e.g. Coaching new employees) I run two HAAS Vertical Mills as part of the boring bar manufacturing process, and help answer questions for the guys in the STUBBY department.
What do you do outside of work? What are your hobbies? I enjoy spending time with my family. My son is in 3 High School sports throughout the year, and that keeps my wife and I busy. My hobbies are archery, snowmobiling, dirt biking, grilling and smoking meats, and spending time at the family cabin on Lewis Lake during the summer.
