Rev. Ritchie is offering “UU Identity: A Virtual Summer Boot Camp” . This course is intended to be an in-depth treatment of topics intended to develop and enhance Unitarian Universalist identity.   Classes are meeting at 7:00 PM every second and third Thursday July-September. (virtually using ZOOM video teleconferencing). While the class is already underway, write to minister@nuuc.org if you'd like to join in.

White Supremacy and Me Discussion Group s

We have formed two discussion groups for exploring Layla Saad's book, "Me and White Supremacy."  We anticipate meeting a total of ten times, via the regular church Zoom videoconference platform. While the groups have formed, we welcome new members, just write minsiter@nuuc.org.  Here's a description of the book: Me and White Supremacy: A 28-Day Challenge to Combat Racism, Change the World, and Become a Good Ancestor  leads readers through a journey of understanding their white privilege and participation in white supremacy, so that they can stop (often unconsciously) inflicting damage on black, indigenous and people of color, and in turn, help other white people do better, too.
