Many jobs in the victim services field include delivering workshops or trainings.

The Advanced Trainer Institute will provide you with facilitation skills and tips on how to deliver online training, engage learners with different learning styles, and present and facilitate with cultural responsiveness.

The Advanced Trainer Institute is designed for victim service providers who are delivering trainings and workshops or making presentations currently and would like to learn how to make them more impactful.
This training will be delivered online, over the course of 6 weeks, beginning on October 9, 2023. Each week, except for the introductory week, will include a facilitated webinar. There are recommended readings and videos, as well as written assignments. You should expect to spend about an hour per week on the assignments, in addition to participating in the 75-minute webinar. CEUs will be awarded for those who complete all requirements. You will find the training schedule here.

This training is part of the NVAA Advanced Skills Institute, and, like all OVC TTAC trainings, there is no cost to participate.

Please note: Space is limited, so apply today to reserve your spot.
