Holiday Season is upon us! As we head into this holiday season, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. I hope you all can find some time for a well-deserved break as we have seen more volume than we ever thought was possible.
 
What a year this was. This year began with uncertainty due to COVID. Now, as the economic improvement continues, the need for qualified appraisers is also on the rise. I believe we continued to lead the way with our members, as there has never been more of a need for our expertise than now. I want to thank the members of this Chapter’s Board of Directors who all worked so well to provide the Chapter with direction and guidance. Also, thank you all for making this a successful year with your dedication and hard work!

Upcoming Events
As you will read below, we have rescheduled the Las Vegas Market Symposium to January 27, 2022 and the location is the Suncoast Hotel & Casino. If you plan to attend, register by December 31, 2021 for the lowest tuition rate. Sponsorship opportunities are available HERE or contact Tina Anderson at tina@ainevada.org.
Upcoming Events (Continued)
Our first 2022 program will be the 2022-2023 USPAP Update course on January 13th. This will be an in-person offering and will be held at the Suncoast Hotel.
We are also scheduling the 2022-2023 USPAP Update course in Reno at the end February or early March 2022.

The next chapter meeting will be held virtually on December 9th. NRED Appraisal Program Manager, Jaye Lindsay will be the speaker. Online registration is available HERE.
 
Congratulations to those who were elected to the 2022 Nevada Chapter Board of Directors. The Chapter will be in very capable hands for years to come with this leadership team. I know that the chapter is in good hands with incoming President Nicholas Bennett, MAI, as he will continue to provide our chapter with exceptional service and leadership moving forward.
 
Finally, thank you again for providing me with the opportunity to serve our chapter this year. It has been my honor to serve as your president.
