President's Message

It is with a great sense of pride and honor that I have the opportunity to serve the Appraisal Institute, Nevada 2021 Chapter President.

I know I am succeeding a leadership role that has included many leaders who have effectively led our Chapter to its current success, I certainly will carry on that tradition. On behalf of the chapter,

I would like to thank Eric J. Anderson, MAI, for serving as chapter president in 2020 and all he has done for the us. No one could have predicted 2020 to be what it was!

Many things have changed in the past year; but without hardship, there would be no growth. Nevada is resilient and already turning the corner. 2020 has certainly been challenging, but the challenges brought about opportunities for us to
learn new ways to communicate and offer events and seminars. I believe 2021 is a year for transformation and innovation.

The appraisal industry and real estate market may be going through a significant change; however, I am confident we will successfully meet the challenges and find new ways to resolve them.

My goal is to continue to provide guidance, networking opportunities, and education to current members and candidates. I hope to see our chapter return to the level of activity and interaction prior to the pandemic.
As the Governor’s office stated Nevada has fully reopened its economy earlier this month.

Thank you and I look forward to connecting with all of you in person. I wish everyone a happy, safe, and healthy 2021!
