Beginning Watercolor Classes with Mel Jackson

At Carter House Gallery, Tuesdays from 5 - 7:00 PM

Starting April 14, 2026, 10 sessions

$150 per student for all 10 sessions. Sign up and pay in the NVAL Gallery or online here. Bring your own materials or let Mel provide you with a beginning kit.

plastic wraps and other materials to create interesting textures and moods. Perspective and the correct use of shadow and composition will be discussed to help make your painting more interesting.

If you don't have materials, please contact Mel (mljackson8@yahoo.com) before the class, and he

will provide a basic set up for you the first day. Package will include paint, palette, brushes, paper, and tape. You will have enough material, except for paper, for the entire ten weeks and

beyond. Approximate cost for materials is $100.
