The deadline is swiftly approaching! This year's Juried Painting Show will take place during the month of July. We are honored to have John Harper as this year's juror. Entries are open until this Saturday, June 7, 8:00 pm. Prospectus, juror bio, and online entry link can be found through this link.

The City of Redding needs art instructors for the Redding School District summer school program. Duties include teaching a 45 minute class that you're passionate about to youth ages 4 to 13 years. More details below:

Dates: June 9-27 (No program on 6/19)

Hours: Monday - Thursdays, between 12 and 4:30 pm. (Schedule/hours vary)

Rate: $73/hour

The Speak Easel Figure Drawing group is meeting again! Come on down to the Carter House Gallery every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month for live figure drawing. The June dates are the 4th (tonight!) and 18th, from 5 to 7 pm. Please be advised that this is a gathering for those 18 years and older.

Artists who wish to put work in or remove work from the gift shop, must do so on the second or fifth Friday of the month when Marlene Woods is at the gallery. If you have any questions about this policy, please call Marlene Woods at 530-604-7030.
