In observance of Thanksgiving, the North Valley Art League Carter House Gallery will be closed for the week Thanksgiving.



To celebrate this national event, we will be open on Sunday, November 30! Come and do some holiday shopping at our wonderful gallery from 11 to 4. Click here to learn about Artists Sunday.

It's almost that time again! North Valley Art League welcomes and encourages all support! Donations to North State Giving Tuesday, on Tuesday, December 2, is one way to help support our mission to promote the visual arts and provide an inclusive and nurturing environment for artists and art enthusiasts in the northern California region.

Donations are welcome today, but if you donate on Tuesday, December 2, then NVAL will be entered into various prize drawings! 

One such prize drawing is the Power Hour! Several times throughout the day, a special Power Hour pool of $15,000 is set aside and up for grabs! The more a nonprofit raises in the designated Power Hour, the more they earn in free money from the Power Hour pool! 

Look for all donations to be stretched further during the 11 AM hour, the 3 PM hour, and the 7 PM hour!

The North Valley Art League is looking for your feedback! By filling out the linked survey you will be entered to win a $20 gift certificate to the North Valley Art League Carter House Gallery! One entry per person will be counted. Paper copy surveys are available in the gallery.

The 2026 NVAL Regional Juried Painting Show is swiftly approaching! Online submission dates are December 5, 2025 through February 7, 2026. The show will open March 4, 2026. Further details and prospectus coming soon!

Pickup of Holiday Show Work: Sat Dec 20, 2 to 4pm**

**Please refrain from picking up unsold artwork before the designated pickup day and time. We ask this so we can avoid empty wall spaces before the show is officially over, for the benefit of all gallery visitors. If you are unable to pick up your work at that time, please know that your art will be safely stored until you are able to come in.
