Juror Roman Loranc will present Awards at 6pm

Roman is also DONATING a copy of his latest book "Traces" with an accompanying print. A RAFFLE for the BOOK & PRINT will be held at the reception.
The package which sells for $1000 is described below.

COLLECTOR’S EDITION OF 350
I am offering a Special Package for my new book, Traces, along with an original 11 x 14 print featured in the volume.
Each 11 x 14 print will come mounted on a 13” x 17” archival mount board in a linen-bound art folio and accompany the book. The Collector’s Edition of Traces is hard-bound and slip-cased in a linen fabric binding, measures 10.25” x 11”, and has 96 pages.

Class Description  
These dynamic and fluid mediums will lead you on an exciting journey in this class. Not only will you learn basic skills in watercolor, acrylic and mixed media, but how to utilize the paint and explore additives and tools used to manipulate surfaces for interesting applications. We will discuss color theory and compositional structure as we conduct small material experiments and then carry them into our paintings. If you are looking to loosen up, and find your inner improvisational artist within, take this class with Ashley of paint and innovative strategies.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
You will see how forgiving watercolor can be when it is allowed to participate and move freely. Lynda shares how to focus on the atmosphere of a landscape creating minimal composition. She will also show how to use controlled brush strokes to lift the spirit of the animal and let the personality shine.
