Northern Valley Baseball Academy is pleased to introduce the newest member of our coaching and instructional team: Club Coach and Batting/Fielding/Catching Instructor
FRANK SALVANO JR.
Frank is entering his third season as
Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Dwight Englewood
High School. In just his second season, Frank turned around the Dwight Englewood Varsity program, winning their
First League Title in over 20 years!
Before taking the helm at Dwight Englewood, Frank Jr was the
Varsity Assistant Coach at St. Joseph High School in Montvale for 10 years, coaching under his father, legendary coach Frank Salvano Sr, who is the winningest coach in Bergen County history.
During his time at St Joe's, Frank was part of
two State and two County Championship teams. Along the way, Frank coached dozens of players who played Division 1 College baseball, including
First Round MLB Draft
Pick Rob Kaminsky,
World Series Champion Tommy Lastella,
Detroit Tigers Pitcher Artie Lewicki, and
Cincinnati Reds Outfielder Patrick Kivlehan, among others.
An accomplished hitting/fielding instructor, Frank has also specialized in training catchers for the last 10 years, and we will be holding catching clinics in the fall and winter, in addition to private catching lessons.
We are very excited to announce that
Frank will be coaching our New 11U and New 12U Coyotes teams this fall (teams that played 10U and 11U this summer).
