Greetings!

We had such a wonderful time at our June 3 "An Evening At River Farm" gala! It was so great to see and meet so many of you, and with the weather cooperating, we had a fantastic celebration of land and water conservation throughout our region.

The conversation, the great food, the wonderful drinks, and the amazing communityall came together to acknowledge the importance of protecting our region's natural areas and the history and culture of Northern Virginia as well.

During the event, we awarded our first-ever Rich Bliss Award and Peggy Stevens Awards to several incredible conservation heroes who as protectors of nature, have set an incredible example of how to impact our environment. Click below to experience the event and learn about the significance of these new awards and their worthy awardees.

If you missed An Evening At River Farm this year, we hope you can be with us next year!

New Land Trust Alliance Report Featuring NVCT On How Conservation Groups Are Using Creative Partnerships To Protect Our Water Quality

In this recent report, Land Trust Alliance highlighted a number of case studies, including the critical water quality work we at NVCT and other conservation groups provide in our region.

We value our partnerships with county governments and water utilities as we focus on ensuring that the Occoquan Reservoir – the source of nearly all of our region's clean drinking water – is forever protected for all of our region's residents.
