NVEELC 2020 Is Canceled

The next annual National Viticulture and Enology Extension Leadership Conference, scheduled for April 26-28, 2020, in Ithaca, NY, has been
canceled due to coronavirus concerns.

A message from
Co-Chairs Anna Katharine Mansfield and Hans Walter-Peterson
of Cornell University:

As you are aware, the uncertainty about the reach of COVID19 has led
several organizations to postpone or cancel unnecessary events.
While NVEELC is an important way for us to stay connected to
national colleagues, the possible risks of travel in late April currently
outweigh the benefits of meeting in person. For this reason, and in
accordance with Cornell University’s recommendations, we have
decided to cancel the 2020 NVEELC meeting
planned for April 26-28 in Ithaca.

We are very sorry if this causes any inconvenience, and look forward to
seeing you all at the 2021 NVEELC meeting. If you have any questions,
please don’t hesitate to contact Donnell, Hans, or Anna Katharine.

Stay healthy, and don’t forget to wash your hands!

Next Up: NVEELC 2021

It's not too early to start thinking about (and setting aside some funds to attend) NVEELC 2021, currently set for the central San Joaquin Valley. In addition to our core networking and professional development activities, we hope to see interesting production systems like this one, for raisins. Stay tuned for more details!
