Help Shape the Future of NoVA's Transportation System!

NVTA is updating Northern Virginia's long-range transportation plan, TransAction, and we want to hear from you! You can help us plan for the region’s transportation future by filling out our online feedback form by August 9.

We update TransAction every five years and it takes approximately two years to complete. The plan is critical to identifying the region's future multimodal transportation needs, including roadway, transit, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, technology and other improvements. To be eligible for future NVTA funding, projects must be included in TransAction.

Your feedback is essential to making sure the region’s transportation network grows and evolves along with the residents it serves.

Popping Up in Your Community

This summer we've held nearly two dozen pop-up events at Metro stations, festivals and public events to gather community input. Additionally, we held a public open house at our office on July 23. During each event, attendees have had the opportunity to speak with our staff, ask questions and share their ideas through interactive activities.

Join us during our final pop-up event!
