◈ Building Momentum with BRT ◈ | |
Thank you for your feedback!
In April, we launched a Draft Action Plan for regionally connected Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, identifying up to 28 potential BRT routes to provide fast, frequent and reliable service across the DMV.
We invited the community to review the Draft BRT Action Plan and system map, and share feedback through an online feedback form. Additionally, NVTA hosted a series of pop-up events across Northern Virginia, providing an opportunity to see the materials in-person and ask questions.
We know community input is key to building a vision for the future of transportation in our region. Overall, we've held 20 pop-up events across Northern Virginia, sought feedback through two online surveys, held eight focus groups and four working groups with our partners/stakeholders during the summer of 2024 and the spring of 2025. Stay tuned for a comprehensive public comment summary that will be available soon.
