The Book Bank - Maurice, Iowa
Small towns doing big things with STEM and our youth - that's what's happening in Maurice, Iowa.  The little town of Maurice, (population of 271) has converted their old bank into a children's library and museum, all possible through donations from the community.  Marissa Maassen, 2nd grade teacher at Orange City Elementary, is leading the charge to provide some great hands-on activities to area youth.  They are pulling kids and their families in from several miles away just to check out the exciting activities they have to offer.  The Book Bank was recently showcased on KTIV TV.  Link to broadcast. Check them out on Facebook for more information! Keep up the great work!!
