Sober Truth on Preventing Underage Drinking Grants

Deadline: Feb. 17 | More information here. U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

Purpose is to prevent and reduce alcohol use among youth and young adults ages 12-20 in communities throughout the United States.


Opportunity Now Colorado

Letter of Intent Due Jan. 24, 2024 | Grant Program Guidelines HERE. The Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) is pleased to announce this grant program designed to help communities across the state connect more Coloradans with in-demand, high-skill, high-wage occupations. The program will provide nearly $85 million in grant funds to collaborative initiatives that improve access to jobs that provide good wages; help close regional workforce shortages; and work on long-term partnerships between industry, education and workforce providers. The first application period is open until January 24, 2023, with more to follow in 2023 and 2024.


Economic Development Organization Action Grant

Deadline Feb. 15 | Grant Guidelines here. The Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade is partnering with the Economic Development Council of Colorado to provide Action Grants to Colorado-based Economic Development Organizations (EDOs) in their economic development, programming, and advancement efforts in service to their local business communities. Action Grants will be provided in the range of $25,000 and $40,000. Use of the grant funds for capacity, operational, and/or personnel support is allowable if it helps expand an economic development program or technical assistance services, is used for applying for grants and leveraging other sources, or otherwise helps drive an economic development initiative chosen by the applicant.


USDA Rural Business Development Grant Program

Deadline: Feb. 28 | Details here. Through competitive grants, RBDG provides technical assistance, training, and other enterprise support to small businesses in rural communities. Grants generally range from $10,000 up to $500,000 and there is no cost share requirement. Applications are accepted through February 28th, 2023.


USDOT 2023 RAISE Grant Program

Deadline: Feb. 28 | Details here. The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) has announced that applications are open for a new round of Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) discretionary grants. Projects focusing on areas of persistent poverty or historically disadvantaged communities will receive preference.

EDA Denver Regional Economic Development Conference

The NADO Research Foundation will hold a regional economic development training conference in Denver, April 10 – 12, 2023. The EDA Denver Region covers a 10-state footprint (CO, IA, KS, MO, MT, ND, NE, SD, UT, and WY). The conference is geared for Economic Development Districts, Revolving Loan Funds, and others engaged in economic development across the region. The conference will be provided with support from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) Denver Regional Office.

2023 Colorado Creative Industries (CCI) Summit

June 1-2, 2023 in Crested Butte. The CCI Summit is the largest annual conference that brings together artists, culture bearers, creative industry entrepreneurs, arts funders, and culture workers. More than 300 creative stakeholders from over 60 Colorado cities and towns attend the summit. The two-day event offers exhibits, performances, networking opportunities, speakers, classes, and workshops.

New Manufactured Housing Resources from Neighbor Works America

Manufactured housing represents a potential untapped, affordable housing solution in communities across the country. NeighborWorks America and Next Step, Inc. partnered together to develop "Manufactured Housing: A Resource for Engaging Nonprofit Boards and Community Stakeholders" to address this challenge and help organizations advance manufactured housing programs as well as two PowerPoint presentations that can help talk about manufactured housing and its benefits to different audiences.
