Philip de Boer is a senior manager at Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund and has been with the firm for 12 years and focuses mainly on audits of manufacturers, PEOs, not-for-profit and governmental organizations and employee benefit plans.
Philip was born and raised in Germany and came to Pensacola 15 years. He and his wife have three young children that enjoy soccer and gymnastics. Philip can often be found coaching their soccer teams.
FloridaMakes Announces the 14th Annual FLATE Manufacturing Education Excellence Awards
FLATE recognizes secondary and postsecondary level educators and industry partners for their outstanding contributions to promote manufacturing education across Florida. Awardees are selected from a distinguished pool of nominations submitted from across the state and were judged by an independent Awards Judging Committee.
"FloridaMakes is proud of the 2021 FLATE awardees for their work in manufacturing education in Florida," said Kevin Carr, FloridaMakes CEO. "It is important to continuously build our pipeline of youth entering the manufacturing industry and recognizing excellence in manufacturing education is one way we can do this.”
2021 awardees will be recognized at both the Florida Association of Career and Technical Education (FACTE, www.facte.org) Conference in Orlando July 19-20 as well as the FloridaMakes MakeMore Summit during the virtual Talent Development segment, July 27-28. FloridaMakes and the Florida Sterling Council Announce Winners for the 2021 Florida Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence Awards
The Florida Sterling Council and FloridaMakes announced the 18 manufacturing companies selected out of more than 140 nominees as winners of the Florida Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence (SMBE) Awards. The winners were announced in June during the MakeMore Manufacturing Summit Business Growth Segment.
These statewide annual awards recognize the state’s high-performing manufacturers and elevate performance of the entire manufacturing sector. Companies were judged in seven categories of criteria. This year’s winners include MAG Aerospace in Fort Walton Beach and Trane Lynn Haven in Panama City.
