Greetings!

Wow. A lot has changed in a month. We hope you're staying healthy wherever you find yourself during these challenging times. The ISN team has been working remotely for a couple of weeks and will continue to do so until community-based work is deemed safe.

This month's enews will be a little different because we unfortunately have a lot of cancellations and changes to announce. That being said, behind the scenes, treatment projects are still being coordinated for the summer months. Our fingers are crossed that outreach programming will pick back up in May but please stay tuned as plans continue to change. We hope to have more virtual content for you soon as well!

Please enjoy the bright colors of native plants throughout this edition and we hope to see you soon. As always, don't hesitate to contact ISN with any questions or to report a sighting.

Conservation District Seedling Sales are Still Happening!
Despite many regional closures, conservation district seedling sales are still on. If you reside nearby, we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. Not only can you purchase native trees and shrubs to improve our special northern Michigan habitat but it helps support the districts and the community resources they provide.

Do you have a garden or landscape where you would like to highlight the native species? ISN's native plant signs feature beautiful photos and provide educational information with guidelines on habitat requirements.
