Featuring the original music of Anthony "RasCricket" Cusenza and King Thayo, The Cultivators are an all-star band brimming with talent that's been a part of the Northwest Reggae scene for years. Playing a mix of Roots, Dancehall, Rocksteady, Ska and Calypso, The Cultivators cover a lot of musical ground. Always an uplifting time, The Cultivators put on a very energetic show enjoyed by all kinds of Reggae fans. The band features well known West Coast musicians Frankie Hernandez on trumpet and guitar, Brian Risling on saxophone, Ryan Redding on Bass (and literally anything else), Eric Maynard on drums, and original Cultivator and co-founding member, Darren Pearson on keys. "If you're in the need for some smooth Reggae sounds, then you have to check out the soulful melodies of Ashland, Oregon's RasCricket." Fusing elements of Reggae and Soul seems effortless to this premiere composer. Ras couples his ability to play an array of instruments with sound songwriting skills and delivers magnificent music to the masses. His music is a wide and varied mix of rich sounds, great lyrics & effects, and is a wonderful example of modern Reggae. A versatile artiste with the ability to take real life situations and create music with a rare voice that blends into any rhythm. King Thayo is the future and the now of Reg-Hop!! He has traveled the US & Trinidad doing shows with prolific artist such as Queen Omega, Pato Banton, Mighty Diamonds, Kymani Marley, Ras Attitude, Queen Ifrica, Anthony B, Messenjah Selah, RasCricket and Rootz Underground just to name a few. King Thayo's voice continues to captivate your mind, body and soul, with lyrics to uplift your heart and a meditation for life. *The Cultivators 2017 ~ One Love*
