Be a Lifesaver – Give Blood

Start the academic year by helping save a life at the American Red Cross Blood Drive in Gateway Center.


Sept. 6 and 7 I 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. I Gateway Center


Donors can sign up to donate a pint of blood or for the Power Red donation, which collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibility requirements and have type A Neg, B Neg, or O blood.


The need for blood is urgent, making donations a crucial part of saving lives. Donors receive a gift card for a haircut and a T-shirt.

Lot P-22 Closed for The Boss

ESF’s Lot P-22 will be closed through Sept. 8 to accommodate the Bruce Springsteen concert at the JMA Wireless Dome Sept. 7. Please choose alternative parking in Standart West lot or additional ESF lots during this time.

Study Abroad Fair Highlights a World of Opportunities 

Come to the Study Abroad Fair to learn about the variety of study abroad opportunities available and speak with people from different programs. Representatives will share information related to ESF semester exchange and summer programs, short-term international field courses, ESF partner provider programs, and other SUNY programs

NY-Alert System Test Scheduled

ESF University Police will conduct a test of the NY-Alert System to all ESF students, faculty, and staff who are registered to receive notifications sent via email, text message, and voice call.


Wednesday, Sept. 13 I 10 a.m.

 

NY-Alert will send a notice to all devices that are registered on the system. Before the test, please review and/or modify your NY-Alert contact information.

 

Students | Log in to MyESF and click on “Self-Service Student Information,” then “NY Alert and Orange Alert Contact Information.”


Employees | Sign in here. Select “Manage Everbridge (NY-ALERT) and Orange Alert Contact Information,” under each section (email, phone), click the “Add New” button to input your information, and select “Save” upon completion.
