The walk will feature historic sites from 1624 to 1900 which we have not recently visited. Of course, we will pass many more current and/or previously visited sites.
From Grand Central Terminal we will take the #4 or #5 subway to Fulton Street where we will begin by visiting St Paul's Chapel. After touring the chapel we will head north to the African Burial Ground Monument passing the Woolworth Building and New York City Hall along the way. We will then head east through City Center toward Chinatown, south to some of New York's maritime history including the Brooklyn Bridge, old Fulton Fish Market and South Street Seaport, to lunch at historic Fraunces Tavern. After lunch we will continue with the Financial District portion including the Alexander Hamilton Customs House, Castle Clinton, and Federal Hall.
--RETURN TO CONNECTICUT--
