NYC Walk Around (Not Through) Central Park - Part 2

Join us for a walk AROUND Central Park to see the architecture, monuments and institutions which surround the park on all sides.
Part two of this walk will take us across Central Park North (110th Street), down Central Park West, and across Central Park South.
--GETTING THERE--
Take the 9:00 AM train from Saugatuck to Harlem - 125th Street.
Meet on the platform in Saugatuck by the ticket machines
or find your own way to Harlem 125th Street.
Scheduled arrival at the Harlem - 125th Street station is 10:00 AM.
After a restroom stop, we'll meet in the waiting room.
Please tell Warren if you will not be on the train; plan to arrive at Harlem - 125th Street by 10:00 AM. The waiting room is accessed from the entrance on the uptown side of 125th street.
--ABOUT THE WALK--
The walk will feature an abundance of museums, churches, synagogues, monuments, and beautiful architecture - some familiar, perhaps some new to you.
From the Harlem 125th Street station we will walk or take the bus to Fifth Avenue and 110th street. The main walk will take us across Central Park North to Frederick Douglas Circle, down Central Park West to Columbus Circle and across Central Park South to Grand Army Plaza. We will take a short detour for lunch midway through the walk in the West 80s.
--RETURN TO CONNECTICUT--
Take the bus down Fifth Avenue to 42nd Street. Walk east to Grand Central Terminal to get the Metro-North train back to Connecticut.
