Senate Roundtable rescheduled for June 3, 1 p.m.
Due to technical difficulties, the NYS Senate Committee on Disabilities roundtable on the COVID-19 response on residential facilities has been rescheduled for June 3, 1 p.m.. CP State's Susan Constantino has been invited to present as well as family groups, associations, self-advocates, DRNY and others.

OPWDD seeking input on 5-year Comprehensive Plan, use of Rescue Plan funds
OPWDD is urging self-advocates, family members of people with developmental disabilities, advocates, and other interested parties to take part in these upcoming public forums. These forums will offer the chance to provide input on OPWDD's strategic priorities, the use of funds from the American Rescue Plan and the development of the agency's 5-year Statewide Comprehensive Plan.

The announcement also provides information on the suggested focus areas for comment related to the agency’s strategic plan or to be considered as one-time financial investments in the OPWDD service system.
