Information Meeting

EF TRAVEL NIGHTS!!!  We have some great trips to introduce to NYOS students and their families, and would love for you to join us at one (or both) of our upcoming meetings:

April 24 at 6:30 pm  - Let's talk about Greece and Italy!

April 30 at 6:00 pm - Let's talk about Spain and Cuisine and Culture in Northern Italy!

Both meetings will be held in the cafeteria. Even if you can't make the meeting(s), complete the interest form via the flyer so you can receive all of the information!

Supply Drive for Student Project

Benefiting Dell Children's Hospital

If you have some jewelry-making supplies you would like to donate to Mr. Atkinson's class for his students, please drop them off next week, Monday-Friday, April 21-25, at Building 1 front foyer. His students will be making jewelry, crafts, and slime to sell on May 1st to raise funds for Dell Children's Hospital. This was all their idea, and they are making each item themselves. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you for your support!

NYOS PTA Uniform Exchange will be at STEAM FAIR! 

NYOS PTA will have the ENTIRE uniform exchange available at the STEAM Fair, Thursday, April 24th! Be sure to bring uniforms your kiddos have outgrown, and grab the next size up so you are ready for next year! The uniform exchange is a free program offered and run by NYOS PTA volunteers.

25-26 Board Nominations

All Executive Board positions are open for the 2025-2026 school year. The Executive Board consists of President, Secretary, Treasurer, an Elementary, Middle and High School VP and a Parliamentarian. All Executive Board positions are voted on by membership at the General Meeting on May 14th. There are also committee chair positions available, which are appointed. Hey, NYOS families and students! The school year is flying by, and you don’t want to miss your chance to capture every unforgettable moment. From spirit weeks and sports victories to club activities and class memories, the NYOS High School Yearbook is your keepsake for years to come!

Pre-orders for the 9th -12th grade yearbook end Thursday at 5 pm! After that, any remaining books will be sold on a first come, first served basis, and we cannot guarantee that you will get a book.

Night of the Arts

NYOS Elementary’s Specials team is proud to announce our 2025 Night of the Arts! Please plan on joining us on Thursday, May ,8, for a celebration of the arts here at NYOS. Every class will have art projects hung up outside their classrooms to share. There will be free activity booths with fun art projects.  Note, Secondary will also be hanging art in their entrance space. This event is free. Please join us in celebrating our community of amazing artists here at NYOS- The kids have been working hard all year! The event is 5-7 pm. 4th and 5th grade will also be performing a concert in the gym ay 5:30.
