New Magic: The Gathering Club

New Magic: The Gathering Club!

Magic the Gathering club is here! Magic (or MTG) is the most played trading card game in the world, and now it has a home at NYOS. This new club is open to students in 4th-8th grade and meets after school on Thursdays from 4:00-5:00 in Mr. Dillard's classroom (Room 264 in the Elementary building). No experience is required (come learn!), and the club has decks for members to use, though students with their own cards are encouraged to bring them for playing and/or trading.

The first meeting will be held after Fall Break on Thursday, October 10. If you have any questions, please email ddillard@nyos.org.

Cross Country (XC) Team

We couldn’t be prouder of our incredible cross-country team! Check out these snapshots from last Saturday’s Speedster Cross Country Classic in Austin, where they gave it their all. These athletes are the definition of hard work and dedication—every step they take shows their passion and commitment!

Interested in Soccer?

The soccer season doesn’t begin until January, but we are hoping to expand this year to include middle school and high school boys AND girls team. Please fill out this interest form by Monday, October 14 to let the program know you are interested in participating so we can start organizing tryouts for the upcoming season.

Story Book Party

Elementary students are invited to a StoryBook Character Party. Students will enjoy face painting, crafts, games, and stories. Students are invited to come dressed in costumes. Students should be accompanied by parents or older siblings. Parents do not need a ticket to attend Get tickets here
