This month we are starting the second year of our Foundational Webinar series. We added these as we came out of Covid-19 as a new way to learn. Or maybe an old way with a new focus. The concept of the Foundational Webinars is to give the basics and explain  why we do what we do to manage local roads and streets.

For instance, the first webinar on Basics of a Good Road discusses why we build roads and streets. The webinar covers the critical issues of traffic, structure and geometry that are needed to design, build, maintain, and manage local highways. It is the entry point to answer your questions.

These webinars are not full day workshops, but are a place to start down the journey toward more complete knowledge. Combined with the longer workshops and your own experience, they provide a sound understanding of the varied topics needed to manage your system. Topics range from management to construction and everything in between. We hope to "see" you online.

Thank you to all that attended the 2022 Bridge Conference.

The University of Connecticut and their partners are conducting a survey of state and other transportation agencies that operate VSL and RTW systems in adverse weather.
