Reaching Thousands of Outdoor Enthusiasts at The Adirondack Sports Summer Expo |
Last weekend, NYSTIA attended the Adirondack Sports Summer Expo, a two-day show at the Saratoga Springs City Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. We were surrounded by many of our New York State Tourism partners.

On Wednesday, April 10, the NYS Canal Corporation will convene two engaging panels to discuss “Accessible Recreation on the Canalway,” at the Brighton Campus of SUNY Monroe Community College in Rochester. New York Chief Disability Officer Kim Hill will deliver the keynote address and moderate the first panel discussion.
They welcome municipal leaders, community planners and developers, and providers to discover new ways to enjoy the canalway while ensuring accessibility for all!

New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Commissioner Basil Seggos has announced the start of the 2024 ‘I BIRD NY’ Challenge for birders of all ages and abilities. Introducing the New York Susquehanna Basin River Trail |
Tourism leaders across south-central New York are announcing the name of a new water trail being developed to attract visitors to eight counties along the Chemung and Susquehanna Rivers. The New York Susquehanna Basin Water Trail (NYSBWT) is a conceptual trail, stretching 190 miles from Cooperstown to Corning. While encouraging healthy and responsible recreation, the new project seeks to spur environmental stewardship and economic growth along the riverfront and nearby communities.
