New York State Federation

of Republican Women

October 2023 Edition

Note from the President

Fall Greetings! Autumn brings us the last stretch of elections. Republican county committees and candidates are gearing up to connect with voters and get our Republicans team elected. Democratic one party rule in New York has demonstrated failed policies as frustrated voters deal with a sky high cost of living, unsafe streets, and a migrant crises that is completely out of control. Our country and our state can not sustain this lack of leadership from Democrats. It is more important that ever to get our Republican team over the line. The New York State Federation of Republican Women are planning ways to support critical elections. Our members are dedicated to making a difference in elections around the state!

SAVE THE DATE! Our conference is on May 5 & 6, 2024 in Albany. Please join us this year!

Let us know if you are aware of a county or individual interesting in starting a group.

We are excited to begin new clubs around the state as we begin the official 2024 NYSFRW Membership Kick Off!

We stand in solidarity with the people of Israel

and mourn the senseless loss of innocent lives in these horrific acts of terrorism.

Volunteers Needed!

25 days until early voting starts!

Many of you are involved in volunteering in races throughout the state. If you are not, I encourage you to reach out to your Republican candidates and offer any amount of time you are able to! Calls, sign placement and door to door will be ramping up as Get Out the Vote starts.

It’s rewarding, it’s fun, it helps make a difference.

We are told this is an “off year”,

a line that tends to further keep voters home.

In politics, there is no off year. Every election is important and every vote matters.

Judicial (many which hold the position for a decade or longer!)

to Legislature to the County Executive matter.

Now is the time to get involved!

If you would like to volunteer some time over the next few weeks to help a Republican get elected and need to be connected, please respond to this email and we will put you in touch with a group in your area!

Putnam County Republican Women's Club

The Putnam County Republican Women's Club is very proud of the work they did for America’s Veterans. Last year the Putnam County Republican Women's Club raised $25,000.00 for Putnam Service Dogs, and that money was used to train a service dog that was then given to veteran in need. This year the club won the National Federation of Republican Women's Armed Services Award and will be donating an additional $9,400.00 to the organization, America's VetDogs.

The club would like to recognize the Mahopac Golf Club, where the event was held, and give a special thank you to Golf Pro, Terence Hughes and Club Manager, Tim Clinton for all their support and effort to make this event such a success. Finally, thank you to PCRWC members Debbi Hudak and Patricia Hughes, who worked hard to help America’s Veterans, and make this event possible.

Are you part of a small club and are looking to grow it?

Here are a few inexpensive ways to get your name out there and expand your membership!

If you don’t have a logo, create one today! It will help market your club in a powerful way. Collaborate with members to create something that best represents your club.

QR codes are convenient, easy to generate and free!

Create one online that leads to your social media page or website.

Business cards, palm cards, table clothes with your logo and club name, step and repeat banner, info packet and pens are all fairly inexpensive ways to bring attention to your club at local events.

Many festivals, fairs and community events offer the opportunity to have a table there for little to nothing. It’s a great way to meet people and get involved AND you can bring voter registration forms and get people registered to vote!
