Legislative Update!
Our Legislative Chair, Jeff Tomlinson, and our lobbyist, Glen Riddell have been hard at work advocating for OT in Albany. Jeff has posted important updates on Medicaid outpatient therapy visit limits, Worker's Compensation coverage of OTA services, and early intervention. We are looking for OT practitioners with knowledge and experience in EI and telehealth to help develop a guidance document for recently enacted legislation.

Who won the April Drawing?
Meet Mary Iwanenko - OT, Director of Pediatric Special Therapy Programs at Erie County Medical Center, doctoral candidate, and winner of April's membership drawing. Student Corner
Members of the D'Youville College chapter of the occupational therapy honor society, Pi Theta Epsilon, hosted their third annual Art Gallery Event. They raised money and awareness, and showcased the artistic endeavors of over 70 artists with disabilities. Click below to see some of the amazing work.

Costa Rica Fieldwork Brigade

State Senator Larkin Retiring

Spring Award Season
Congratulations to two of NYSOTA's Trustees for the awards and recognition they've received this season. Clover Hutchinson and the NYSBOTC received the Yvonne Flowers Service Award, and Cristina Dumitrescu received the AOTA Service Commendation Award.
