Executive Committee Meets on February 1st

The next scheduled meeting of the NYSPHSAA Executive Committee will be on Wednesday, February 1st in Saratoga Springs.


The meeting agenda will be released in the coming weeks. Check your e-mail and NYSPHSAA.org for the agenda, which includes action and discussion items.

Girls Wrestling Invitational

Boys Wrestling Dual Meet Championships

Championship season is coming soon!


NYSPHSAA will be hosting two events at the SRC Arena and Events Center on the campus of Onondaga Community College at the end of the month.


The first ever Girls Wrestling Invitational will take place on Friday, January 27th. The following day the top boys wrestling teams will compete in the Dual Meet Championships.


Tickets for both events will go on sale soon, use the link below to purchase tickets to either event.


Both events will be streamed live by the NFHS Network.

North Salem Wins Fall Community

Service Challenge

Congratulations to the North Salem girls volleyball program. North Salem was chosen as the winners of the Fall Community Service Challenge.


North Salem raised money for breast cancer research working with the Side-Out Foundation and its Dig Pink program.

NYSPHSAA Honors Fall Scholar-Athletes

NYSPHSAA has released its fall Scholar-Athlete Teams and numbers of individuals.


NYSPHSAA recognized 3,886 Scholar-Athlete teams and 49,801 individuals. A total of 627 schools across the state participated in the Scholar-Athlete program which honors schools each of the seasons there is interscholastic competition.

Free Sportmanship Course from the NFHS

One of the longest-running and most utilized online education courses in the NFHS Learning Center has been updated with an urgent call for better behavior and conduct by everyone at high school games and contests.


The free “Sportsmanship” course, which debuted on the NFHS Learning Center in 2011, has been delivered to more than 920,000 individuals in the past 11 years, and is among the top five most popular courses offered through the NFHS’ online education center.
