  • Due to disruptions in NYC local government and the city's economy caused by the Covid-19 crisis, the Department of Sanitation has announced that they will delay their early processes for establishing commercial waste zones by at least a month. The Department still expects to issue an RFP for carters sometime this spring, and updates on timing will be expected in April.

  • NYSRA’s disability insurance carrier, Standard Security Life Insurance Company, will be extending the grace period for premium payments by 30 days. So, if your policy is going to cancel on 3/31/2020 the policy will be reinstated through 5/30/2020, not 4/30/2020.​
