Each year, NYSSEA offers scholarships of up to $500 to attend NYSSEA and NAEA Events, such as the NYSSEA Annual Conference, the NAEA Annual Meeting, the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI) or the Schuldiner/Smollan Leadership Academy.

Who deserves an award?

These awards recognize the achievements and contributions of individuals in networking, educational opportunities, programs, and services that enable enrolled agents, tax professionals and students to excel beyond their peers.

Award recipients include individuals who are advocates for Enrolled Agents, leaders towards prolonging our organization, and members that have demonstrated enormous contributions for our organization.

The NYSSEA Founders Award recognizes significant leadership and contributions that have immediate or long term impact on the growth and progress of the association.

The NYSSEA Robert Nadel Above & Beyond Award recognizes significant contributions of members above and beyond the normal responsibilities for the New York State Society of Enrolled Agents.

The NYSSEA Excellence in Public Awareness Award recognizes significant contributions having immediate and/or long-term impact on making "Enrolled Agents" and "EA" more readily recognized in the state of New York as the tax professional of choice.
