Immersion Experiences Planned For The
2026 New York State Tourism Conference

Immersion Experiences at the 2026 New York State Tourism Conference will once again take professional development programming beyond the conference room with five curated opportunities to expand your knowledge by exploring the Oneida County tourism ecosystem.


Immediately following lunch on Thursday, April 23, attendees will board buses for immersive, on-location learning focused on key themes shaping tourism today, including sustainability, sports tourism, heritage and history, inclusive visitor experiences, and economic development / M.I.C.E. tourism. These tours offer valuable insights through site visits, expert perspectives, and engaging discussions, all while connecting with fellow attendees.


More details about each Immersion Experience will be shared soon. Registered attendees will receive an email with tour descriptions and the opportunity to select which bus they would like to join.
