Immersion Tours: Professional Development in a Dynamic Setting

Choose Your Preferred Immersion Tour for the 2026 New York State Tourism Conference

All 2026 New York State Tourism Conference attendees should have received a link to share dietary/accessibility needs, register for a pre-conference session, and a rank preferred Immersion Tour experience. If you haven't yet responded, please do so here.

Immersion Experiences are a featured breakout component of the 2026 New York State Tourism Conference, taking professional development programming beyond the conference room and into the community.

Back by popular demand, these curated experiences offer attendees the opportunity to explore the Oneida County tourism ecosystem through five unique, topic-driven sessions. Each experience will provide a behind-the-scenes look at real-world applications, innovative initiatives, and success stories, while offering meaningful opportunities to engage with and learn from fellow tourism professionals in an interactive setting.

After the tour, you're invited to come together for an evening networking event at the beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Utica, hosted by Oneida County Tourism. Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and drinks as you connect with fellow attendees before heading out into Utica for a dine-around night.

Book Your 1:1 Networking Sessions

"1:1s are a great way to discover emerging tech that helps us work smarter, not harder. They’re a no-pressure way for us to connect with solution providers outside of the typical workday when taking sales calls is challenging, at best. I leave with a menu of options from companies I already have a baseline level of trust in, knowing that NYSTIA has vetted them in advance." - Cass Majestic, Destination Marketing Corp.

And now for the first time ever, each session you book will earn you an additional entry into our drawing for a fantastic local Utica gift basket! Book Your Sessions | About the 1:1 Appointments
