⚖️ Advocacy Matters to You

💰 The deadline for the New York Study of Public and Private Museums has been extended to August 15. In a time where MANY has been deeply impacted by federal grant termination, a funding crisis, and shifts in organizational structure, your museum's participation in this study is vital to improving the future funding and support of NY museums. Take the survey.

🇨🇦 Back by popular demand and continuing political impact, James Sauter and Sally Donovan from Rove will be presenting an "Oh Canada Travel Data Report Update" on Thursday, September 11 at the 2025 NYS Tourism Excellence Summit. This session in particular will focus on cross-border tensions and impact, featuring up-to-date numbers, industry information and more vendor data.

🛂 The U.S. State Department announced a 12-month visa bond pilot program under the Immigration and Nationality Act. Of greater concern: Congress recently enacted a $250 “Visa Integrity Fee,” which if implemented, the U.S. would have among the highest visa fees in the world—a serious competitiveness challenge as we enter a historic decade of global events. U.S. Travel will monitor the pilot’s impact closely.
