Return to Play Update
As mandated by the New York State government, soccer resumed on July 6th, 2020.

Travel restrictions are still in force: Tournaments, Games, Matches, or Scrimmages that require travel outside of your (Covid) region or beyond counties that border the one you are in (irrespective of region) are prohibited.

The State of New York has classified soccer as a moderate risk sport, and their guidelines clarify what type of play is allowed. The guidelines specify both the mandatory requirements of Return to Play and the recommended best practices. Refer to the document linked above to ensure that your respective soccer programming meets the New York State requirements.
US Youth Soccer Updates
COVID-19

USYS has developed a COVID Tip Sheet guidance document for club use.

Birth Year Modification

Due to the impact COVID-19 has had on our U-19’s, the Board has approved our request to allow all players aging out to play one additional season. Therefore, USYS will allow the U-20’s to play with U-19’s during the 2020-21 season only. This ask was supported by various committees and did get support from US Adult Soccer.

You can find all of the information in the PLAY ON hub at  ussoccer.com/playon . Additionally, the  Member Toolkit  has been updated and we’ll continue to add more tools as we complete them.
