Animal Access Article from Jane Gruebner
| Animal Access Auckland 22 - 23rd October Jacquie McIntyre from Australia came over and gave us all an incredible experience. We had animal behavourists, people going on to learn AnimalTalk as well as people who simply wanted to help their pets. "A very unique and special experience" is how one student described the weekend. It was simply delightful to be in the presence of the animals and feel so connected with them while working with energy, their responses are immediate and obvious. The course used to be 1 days, but the owners did so much processing as well, it has been extended to a full 2 days. Both owners and animals noticed some incredible and immediate shifts, which is great confirmation for the work being done. The animals often stretch, yawn, roll, as they process, so it was fun to observe and feel so engaged in their natural responses! Learning how to work hands on and off as well as distance work made the course flexible and practical and the students general comments were that it was 'practical, easy to learn and impactful'

All the animals were dogs this time and we also visited and worked with a local horse rescue centre in West Auckland www.totallyhorse.org The responses from the horses were heart rending, as many of them have been through horrendous abuse and neglect. They were all free to roam around us, so we ended up getting love kisses by the horses, being nibbled on and nudged against, as you can imagine being leaned on by a few hundred kilos of horse is special to say the least! We were simply to stand there and allow the horses to process... truly humbling to feel the emotional response and watch the physical response of these beautiful animals. We are planning on getting Jacquie back to NZ later next year as it was such an inspirational course. Next time we hope to get the SPCA and the Zoo involved Jacquie is a highly skilled and sensitive instructor. She is off to South Africa and Borneo next year to work with the wild animals including elephants and orangutangs..wow !! Thank you Jacquie for your love, passion and dedication to the animals and bringing your skills to us. www.yovelapractice.com Jane Gruebner (President of NZ BodyTalk Association)
