As November comes to a close, emerging authors from all over the world are finishing up writing projects for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). This is the perfect time to let them know how your library can support their creative endeavors. Reach out to local writers’ groups and “Come Write In!”spaces to remind them of the BiblioBoard tools and services that you offer.

Create
Using Pressbooks Public, a digital self-publishing tool, authors can create, format, design, and produce professional-quality print-ready and eBook files. Access is available through the library’s subscription, so no cost to authors. NaNoWriMo participants will be ready to finalize their projects with the help of Pressbooks Public.
Share
Local authors can increase exposure of their book by submitting it to the SELF-e program and sharing with their community. Authors have the chance for both statewide and national exposure, all while retaining rights to their work. Learn more here.
