It is with great sadness that I share with you the news of Nahida Gordon’s passing in the early evening on June 21. Nahida’s family shared the news of her passing with the congregation this past Sunday, and some of you will have learned of it from Pastor Enikö’s blog from earlier this week, but I received word that many in our church family might not yet have heard.
Please accept my apologies for not having seen to this sooner, and I hope we can all join in keeping Don and the family in prayer during these days.
Plans have been made for a “Celebration of Life” service for Nahida. It will be held on Saturday, July 6, at 10 am, followed by a fellowship meal at the conclusion of the service. All the details have not yet been finalized; if you would like to help please contact Candy Relle at 330-749-5140.
In the peace Christ our Savior,
Tom Shaw
