THREE NAMES...ONE WINNER...YOUR VOTE This fall, we launched a community brainstorm to name the next road in the 16 Tech Innovation District. Ideas were collected and an advisory committee consisting of a diverse array of voices narrowed our pool down to three names that represent the culture and history of the neighborhoods surrounding 16 Tech. Now, we want to hear from YOU. Head to our website, select your favorite name and cast your vote by Friday, December 11 at midnight. The winning name will be announced in 2021. 1776 WELCOMES DANIELLE MCDOWELL 1776 named Danielle McDowell Managing Director of 1776 Indianapolis. The dynamic tech leader will manage 50,000 SF of flexible office, incubator and meeting space in HqO, 16 Tech's innovation hub. McDowell is best known for co-founding startup Loxa Beauty that sold to beauty giant Sally Beauty in 2013. She also served as the Executive Director of Indianapolis’ startup hub, The SpeakEasy in Broad Ripple, and most recently assisted in leading the Indianapolis campus and student job placement efforts for ed-tech startup, Kenzie Academy as its General Manager.
