Dear Program Director/Dermatology Chair,
The Society for Pediatric Dermatology (SPD) would like to highlight a unique opportunity for your program. Each year, the Nancy Esterly Pediatric Dermatology Visiting Lectureship sponsors up to three dermatology programs to benefit from a two-day visit from a pediatric dermatologist. This lectureship offers education and mentorship opportunities for medical students, residents, and faculty. The SPD will provide an honorarium to the Visiting Lecturer, along with reimbursement for travel, lodging, and meal expenses for two days.
The visit format and schedule are flexible and can be tailored to your institution’s needs. Based on past lectureship visits, the SPD asks that the proposed agenda includes grand rounds, 2 resident lectures and a half day as teaching attending in clinic. The lectureship can also be an opportunity to partner with the Department of Pediatrics at your institution.
