Middlebridge School Celebrates Its Narragansett Community
Each fall, when Middlebridge School students return to our campus at Hazard Castle, we get to watch them become part of the rhythm of Narragansett all over again.
For our students, Narragansett is more than where they go to school. It's their community. You’ll find Middlebridge students and families grabbing fish tacos at Monahan’s, stopping for gelato at Nana's, enjoying dinner at Sea Craft and the Coast Guard House or tasting shoreline favorites at Aunt Carrie's or George's, walking the seawall, fishing from Hazard Rocks, and exploring the many small businesses that make our town feel like home. Visiting families make a weekend of it with stays and breakfasts at The Break Hotel, while students explore all the shops, beaches, restaurants, and small businesses that make our town feel like home.
Our students also have opportunities to participate in the traditions that bring the larger community together. This fall, Middlebridge students and faculty once again took part in the Ocean Road 10K, joining neighbors and visitors along a route that passes right by our campus.
As a boarding and day school, we welcome families to Narragansett from across Rhode Island, around the country, and around the world. Whether they are here for move-in, Family Weekend, an athletic event, or a campus visit, we love introducing them to the local businesses and community traditions that make this place so special.
Middlebridge is proud to call Narragansett home, and even prouder when our students begin to think of it as home, too.
