Nashville recently became the first city in the South to recognize LGBT-owned enterprises in government contracting. Part of this historic effort requires businesses wishing to self-identify and register as LGBT-owned to obtain certification through the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

In honor of LGBT Pride Month, our June workshop will explore the requirements, benefits, and process for becoming a certified LGBT Business Enterprise (LGBTBE). This class is offered through a joint initiative of the Metro Business Assistance Office and the Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Out and About Nashville, an LGBTBE, is also hosting.

This is a free event, but you must register with the BAO. Space is limited.
