Mission Spotlight - Villages in Partnership,
2026 Water Walk
| |
Saturday, May 2, 11:30 AM, Allentown, NJ
The Nassau Presbyterian Church Water-Walkers Team is forming now—and we would love for you to join us.
Participants will gather to learn about Villages in Partnership’s work in Malawi, take a one-mile walk together, and share a picnic meal. Our team’s goal is to raise $3,000 to support access to clean water in remote villages.
If you cannot attend in person, you may participate by walking in your own neighborhood and logging your walk online. Team members are also invited to help raise awareness and support for this important work—especially this year, as Villages in Partnership expands to serve seven new villages.

The Gospel of Mark
George Hunsinger, 9:30 AM, Room 202
| | | George Hunsinger's Final Bible Study Class | |
After more than 30 years of faithful teaching at Nassau Presbyterian Church, George Hunsinger will conclude his Bible Study class on May 10.
Since beginning in 1995, this class has engaged deeply with scripture—studying Paul’s Letter to the Romans, I and II Corinthians, Galatians, Colossians, Philippians, Philemon, the Gospel of John, I, II, and III John, the Acts of the Apostles, and the Gospel of Mark—and has formed a devoted and enduring community of learners. Many in our congregation have been shaped by George’s thoughtful teaching and the rich conversations that have grown out of this weekly gathering.
In addition to his ministry at Nassau, George has served for many years at Princeton Theological Seminary, where he was the founding director of the Center for Barth Studies and, for the past 25 years, Professor of Systematic Theology.
We give thanks for this remarkable ministry and for George’s lasting impact on our congregation. If George’s teaching has contributed to your understanding of scripture or your life of faith, you are welcome to share a note of gratitude with Deborah Hunsinger.
