Adult Education - Saturd ay, June 27 @ 9:15 a.m.
The Church in Times of Crisis: Snapshots from American History with Heath Carter
As we continue to navigate the cascading challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, what can we learn from the past? Over the course of this month-long series we'll consider a number of moments in American history when Christians confronted crisis. In their stories we will not discover ready-made solutions for our contemporary predicament. But along the way we will find plenty of opportunities to reflect on what it means to be people animated by faith, hope, and love, even when it seems like the world is falling apart.

Supporting Nassau Church
Text Giving
Want to give via text message?

Text NASSAU operating to 73256 to give to the Operating Fund.

Text NASSAU hunger to 73256 to give to the Hunger Fund.

Standard messaging rates apply.
Giving online is now the easiest and most efficient way to give to our church. You may give using the link provided or by using Church Life on your phone. You may also text NASSAU operating or NASSAU hunger to 73256 . The most efficient way to give to Arm in Arm is directly on their website.

You may also mail a check. As our offices are closed, mail is being forwarded to Linda Gilmore. This remains an unpredictable process with some mail arriving weeks after it was mailed. So it is more efficient to mail directly to Linda (look up her address in My Nassau or Church Life or contact her by email . ) If you have questions about gifts you have mailed, you may also contact Linda about those.

Daily Devotionals
Our beloved Daily Devotionals, written by members of the Witherspoon Street and Nassau Presbyterian Churches, are wrapping up at the end of June. We lift up heartfelt gratitude for the many contributors who blessed us these last several months with their insights, offerings, and wisdom. An extra-special word of thanks is owed to Marcia Wood, whose shepherded this project these many months, Carol Wehrheim, our faithful editor, and Lauren Yeh, staff support. These first-thing-in-the-morning emails have helped us meet each challenging day knowing that together we are the body of Christ. This practice and tradition will return next Lent 2021.

Prayer Chain
The ministry of prayer is part of the baptismal calling of every believer. We pray for the world because God so loves the world. We pray for the church because it is Christ’s body, living and working in the world. We pray for one another because we care for the wholeness of God’s people. T o request prayer for yourself, a loved one, or a friend please contact Debbi Roldan . To join the prayer chain, send Debbi your email address or phone number.
Reaching the Nassau Staff
Like many of you, the Nassau Staff is working from home so email is the most efficient way to be in touch. You can find each staff person’s email address on the Clergy and Staff page of our website .

If you have general questions or do not know to whom your email would best be addressed, please email “ office@nassauchurch.org. ” This email address is monitored by our administrative staff who will forward it to the person best suited to address it.

Staff can also be reached by phone if you have a pastoral emergency. Please call the church office at (609) 924-0103 , dial "0", and leave a message. The main church line is checked daily by staff.
