Our Appalachia Service Project crews are asking for old bed sheets to help protect the inside of rental vans as they transport construction materials and dusty volunteers around worksites in July. Double or Queen sizes preferred, but all donations graciously accepted by Sunday, June 30, to the basket outside the church office.
With your help, the nine-person team from Nassau (Janine Edwards, Joyce MacKichen-Walker, Loretta Wells, Lucy Joye, Marshall McKnight, Sarah Ringer, Val Matthews, and co-leaders Larry Alphs and Liz Beasley) raised $6,836 toward the VIP Water Walk total of $391,571. These funds will buy seed and solar-powered irrigation pumps to help Malawian farmers replant crops lost in this winter’s drought, and save villagers from malnutrition and starvation. We are grateful for your caring for and commitment to our brothers and sisters in Malawi.

Juggling, magic tricks, joke telling, gymnastics, poetry, artwork, instrument playing, solo singing - it is all welcome and encouraged. Come enjoy our church family in our “living room”!
